We are seeking a Chief Operations Officer for our rapidly growing company. The Chief Operations Officer provides direction and support to the Area Manager, Office staff and Logistics teams regarding all functions related to operations of our retail stores and distribution center. The Chief Operations Manager is responsible for analyzing and managing resources to best meet Karma and Lucks, Client forecasts and organizational profitability objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be passionate, energetic, and have an enthusiastic disposition even in adverse situations
  • Provide leadership; assume responsibility and accountability to ensure overall management and direction for assigned departments
  • Develop and administer strategies and programs to ensure overall operational performance and stability of operations
  • Take ownership to drive the company to achieve and surpass goals and objectives
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all internal and external processes
  • Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of various departments and accept responsibility within the prescribed authorities
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager, Office staff and Logistics team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of Karma and Luck
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the management team provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program
  • Evaluate, build, and manage relationships with vendors
  • Oversees Accounting, Office, and Logistics/Warehouse areas
  • Participates in performance review process and approves any wage increases.
  • Responsible for orientation, evaluations, and timekeeping for team members. Be a model of compliance and always follow and enforce the policies and procedures of Karma and Luck
  • Maintains a safe work environment by managing the safety and maintenance requirements for their facilities

Qualifications

  • At least twelve years of proven successful operational experience
  • Must have experience in overseeing multiple warehouses in various locations
  • Must have barcoding experience such as developing and implementing systems
  • Must have warehouse product quality control, inventory control and shipping/receiving experience
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis with previous experience overseeing multiple corporate departments
  • Skilled in organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning
  • Requires excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. Should have strong business negotiation and interface skills; excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills; public relations and listening skills; emotional maturity and self-motivation
  • Must have a demonstrated history of hiring and firing experience, when required
  • Demonstrated ability to “think freely” and propose creative alternatives

Inventory Control Specialist 
Karma and Luck - Las Vegas, NV

Karma and Luck is a rapidly expanding Jewelry and Home Goods store with a passion to inspire and share the philosophy of Uniting Cultures. With 12 current locations in Las Vegas, NV and several more to open within the next few months, we need an Inventory Control Specialist who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and can take initiative.

The Inventory Control Specialist maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Asses inventory management and control
  • Implementation of barcoding system in POS
  • Knowledge in Synchronization warehouse inventory with eCommerce and retail inventory
  • Research, bar coding, and management of the Equipment Inventory POS System
  • Functions involve the work of managing, regulating, coordinating, or otherwise exercising inventory control over non-expendable property.
  • Ensuring equipment accountability and appropriately managed, assigned, and monitored
  • Scheduling and conducting physical inventories
  • Maintaining accountability property and receipt documents
  • Analyzing data impacting procurement decisions
  • Conducting market research on product pricing and performance
  • Researching and conducting analysis of potential cost savings, efficiencies and process improvements using quantitative analysis and historical usage patterns.
  • Utilizing performance measures to conduct forecasting and quantitative analysist
  • Conducting short, mid, and long term advanced planning for non-expandable assets
  • Performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer generated reports and/or Bill of Lading (BOL).
  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels internally at the warehouse and at retail store locations; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Ensures all items are properly barcoded, labeled, and identified in the database, reports issues to Management and makes appropriate recommendations for improvement.
  • Assists retail stores in determining appropriate stock levels, identifying best items to stock, and reporting back to Management for further direction; re-stocks items as necessary
  • Maintain standards for loss prevention in the warehouse and retail store locations
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Ideal candidates will have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Must have POS and barcoding experience
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
  • Extremely detail oriented and accurate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, interpret, organize, and disseminate large amounts of information; the ideal candidate will also make recommendations and design processes for continuous improvement
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Clean driving record and current Nevada Driver’s License
