Finally! We have arrived at the end of March and the start of spring!! Who isn’t sick of winter? The cold, wet days that keep us locked up inside. We are antsy feeling and bored, edgy and grumpy. We are tired of the stale air we’ve had the past 3 or 4 months.

1. Essential Oils: High-Grade Is A Worthwhile Investment
Studies have proved that, besides apple and cucumber work as well as lavender does in reducing anxiety while lime and orange are great for energy boosts. Simply adding 3 to 5 drops to your bathwater or inhaling them from an eye pillow will do the trick. Concentrated version of essential oils are recommended to avoid possible allergic reactions from additives.
2. Outside The Box And Away From The Coffee Table
Include aromatherapy in your everyday environment. Using essential oil tablets in your shower and plug-in diffusers in your car. The shower routine will get you woke up and going while the routine in your car will boost your mood as you commute.
3. Get A Massage – Even One That’s A Favor Payback
You know all those small favors that you do for your significant? Nothing can be a better payback than an aromatherapy massage. Just a few drops of a favorite scent with a neutral carrier oil, will relieve the stress as your mate massages your arms, back, neck, and shoulders.
4. A Banana A Day Keeps The Pounds At By
While eating an apple a day keeps the doctor away, smelling banana and green apple when you’re hungry will keep the pounds down. Studies have found that there are specific odors that release the hormones that make us feel full.
5. Quit Smoking With Black Pepper Help
In 2013, a study smokers found that when they smelled angelica oil or black pepper oil, their cravings for nicotine were reduced. The inhaled black pepper gave them a burning feeling in their throat, much like that of a cigarette. The participants that used angelica oil became relaxed, much like how smoking helped them relaxed. Simply place a small drop of either oil on a cotton ball when the craving hits.
6. Almonds Ease The Pain
Canadian research found that when women experienced pleasant scents, such as almond extract, they has almost 40% less pain. Their pain levels became higher with they had strong scents like vinegar. Experts believe that a specific scent may be what postoperative patients need for comfort as opposed to more medications.
